Maplewood, USA — In a daring heist that left bank employees both baffled and amused, a sneaky squirrel managed to infiltrate the local branch of Acorn Savings Bank.
The squirrel, later dubbed “Nutsy McFluffytail” by witnesses, executed its plan with precision. First, it scurried across the bank’s exterior security cameras, cleverly avoiding detection. Then, using its tiny paws, it slipped through the gap between the automatic sliding doors, which were apparently set to “squirrel-friendly” mode.
Inside the bank, chaos ensued. Nutsy leaped onto the counter, knocking over a stack of withdrawal slips. It then proceeded to the vault, where it cracked the combination by rapidly spinning the dial (rumor has it the squirrel had been practicing with a miniature safe at home).
The pièce de résistance? Nutsy made off with a single acorn, which it triumphantly carried out of the bank, zigzagging through the lobby and evading the security guard’s futile attempts to apprehend it.
Bank manager Mrs. Hazel Nuttingham commented, “Well, it’s not every day we have a squirrel as our most valued customer. We’ve upgraded our security protocols to include anti-squirrel measures, just in case.”
As for Nutsy, it disappeared into the nearby oak tree, presumably to stash its ill-gotten acorn fortune. Authorities are on the lookout, but the squirrel remains at large.
Remember, folks, when it comes to bank heists, sometimes the real nuts are the ones wearing fur coats.
