Please Put Your Hancock Here

In this picture is a blue pen with a black cap and a black pen with a blue cap.  I met a person who would only write with a black pen.  If he picked up the blue pen with the black cap he would be out of sorts if he wrote in blue.  He might even need to see a psychiatrist.  what if instead of that guy, this person was John Hancock who didn't want to write in blue.  Let's say there was only a blue pen available and they were signing The Declaration of Independence.  John Hancock might not have been able to sign it because of not wanting to write with a blue pen.  Then people wouldn't say, "Please Put Your Hancock Here" while signing papers.  Thank goodness this wasn't the case.
