Twitter is doubling the character limit on tweets to 280.

Twitter finally did it!  They changed the character limit on tweets to 280 in most countries.  Lots were frustrated when they could only type very little while tweeting.  If you had a great story and wanted to tweet about it, but if it’s 281 characters then you can just leave the conclusion out.  Or do what I did and leave the message in a blog post.  I remember posting on Twitter when I was at the limit and had to delete some things I said that were great.  If I might not say so myself.  I recall typing a tweet where I hit the limit of characters and Twitter said, “You’re out of Tweet luck.”  Just kidding they didn’t say that.  Many times I Tweeted and got blocked by the character limit, I found an easy solution.  You can Tweet a part 1 and then 2 and all the way up to a part 50 plus Tweets.  So if you are tweeting and find the 280 character limit not enough, then just Tweet some more.
