It’s so ironic that Rodney Dangerfield got so much respect as a comedian, but did the most jokes on getting no respect. USA Today says “Dangerfield, who would have turned 100 on Monday, knew he had struck a chord.” And it sure got everyone laughing about not getting respect. Aretha Franklin said, “All I’m asking is for a little respect when you come home.” I like Rodney Dangerfield’s joke, “I get no respect, I told my psychiatrist that everyone hates me. He said I was being ridiculous - everyone hasn’t met me yet.” If Aretha Franklin would sing a song about Dangerfield’s joke, she’d sing, “All I’m asking is for a little respect from my psychiatrist when I lie on the couch.” I give Rodney Dangerfield lots of respect for going back to school and all of his no respect jokes. We miss you!
