Writing and drawing are connected in many ways. When you are going to write something, you need to draw upon something. Anything written has words that can be visualized into pictures, and drawings are just the reverse. Before there were words, the cavemen and cavewomen drew pictures to talk. It must have been something like the game Pictionary when they tried to figure out what the pictures said. And as we know a picture is worth a thousand words that was said by Fred R. Barnard. He was onto something. Have you noticed these days while texting there’s so many pictures that can be put in place of words. For the longest time we were trying to get a way to communicate that wasn’t just pictures in the Prehistoric Ages. And that was developed through writing. Isn’t it odd how we are so much more advanced and we revert back to picture communication through technology by texting to speak even faster.
