You know how they always say Elvis has just left the building, well Elvis hasn’t left the theaters yet. In a trailer of Warner Bros, I like this line, “Comic heroes all find their superpowers, Elvis found music.” And this was from another trailer of Baz Luhrmann’s, “Get a haircut buttercup.” A critic had yelled that, but Elvis went on in who he believed he was. And the outside saw it in him. Then the trailer said, “In that moment I watched that skinny boy transform into a superhero.” Elvis broke barriers with his dance moves. Yes, freedom of dance moves. Eventually, Elvis will leave the theaters, but Elvis hasn’t left our hearts. He is an Icon that will always be with us through his music, dance moves, Elvis impersonators, Graceland, and his nice touch on humanity.
