Year of the second brands Funny Time News

Many brands have been sold out.  And the companies either don’t have the man power or components to keep up with the demand.  So consumers have had to settle for a second brand.  They are either using some other soap or shampoo and smelling different.  Or using another deodorant, that’s if you used it in the first place.  Then there are people driving cars they wouldn’t have originally purchased and in a color that wasn’t their first choice.  Blame it on the chip shortage.  What’s gone through peoples minds in the past when they shop is that they would never try another brand than the one they normally get.  Companies spend millions or billions of dollars on advertising to get a person to try their brand.  But when things are so whacky, the consumer that once said ill to the second brand are now embracing it like a best friend.  Right away people might use the second brand and like it so much that it becomes their first pick.  And the second brand didn’t even have as big of an advertising budget as the first brand.  No longer is the second brand saying try me and feeling left out.  Instead people that wear a certain cologne that’s not available, could try another brand and then attract other people.  Hey weirder things have happened.  When we go to a store or shop online, we don’t want to see no name brands.  But now we have no choice.  Let’s say you go to a baseball game, usually they yell out, “Hotdog’s, peanuts and popcorn!”  But what if that was not available.  Would they walk around saying, “Lobster, crabs, and sushi!”  That wouldn’t sound like a baseball game, but something you’d get at a Hibachi restaurant.  So eat what you can while it’s there and don’t be the last on the buffet line.
